CRACKLETONE is the Ambient, Clicks & Cuts project from Composer / Musician Jim Sutherland, and includes his atmospheric soundtrack for the episode "Fire, Burn" of the hit Scottish TV Police Drama "TAGGART".

Jim has been writing and recorded soundtracks for film and TV (both drama and commercials)
for over 30 years, his credits include: "Play Me Something", "As An Eilean", "The Vision", "The Old Course" and the Episode of STV's TAGGART "Fire, Burn".

The music from this episode is a mixture of ambience, clicks & cuts, occasional beats and a hint of Stockhausen

Consisting of breaks, clicks, cuts, dark ambience, atmospherics and a beautiful sense of foreboding "Journey To The Sea Of Sparks" is a masterpiece of the modern soundtrack, and also a superb foray into avant garde electronica.

Jims list of credits for Film and TV spans over twenty productions and his music has seen him signed to labels like CBS and write songs for other Sony artists.
